Welcome. My name is Josie Marie, author of From God, through Daisy. I’m so happy to have you as a visitor to my blog about my new book. This project is very special to me, and I hope to share some of that excitement with you here.
We first welcomed Daisy home in August, 2020. She was all of five pounds and a bundle of adorable. While living life with her, I began to feel God use my Daisy moments to impress upon me Biblical lessons, encouragements, reminders, corrections, etc. I began to write these impressions down and would share them with my family in our group text. I called them “Thought of the day – from God through Daisy.”
I continued to write down these impressions whenever they came. I thought to myself, “Maybe someday I’ll do something with all of this.” Well, after an entire year of repeating this statement to myself, I felt God say back to me, “Are you going to keep talking about doing something or are you actually going to do something about it?” I looked down at Daisy and said to her, “Well Daisy, I guess we’re writing a book.”
And so From God, through Daisy was born. What began as a book idea turned into a daily devotional and I couldn’t be more thrilled with how it turned out. I praise God for His faithfulness and guidance. He IS the true author!
I’ll be using this blog to interact with you about From God, through Daisy, expanding on some of the topics in it as well as blogging on some new ideas yet to be discussed in my book. This is a great place for you to get to know me, and I’m looking forward to getting to know you, too. What did you think of From God, through Daisy? What questions do you have for me? How do you relate to my book? Want to share some of your fun furry friend stories? Please do!
I’ll be returning here frequently with new posts and responses to feedback from you. Until next time, tell me a little bit about yourself.
